Is this a good set-up for a whites tree frog?
I have a whites tree frog...she's 10 months old and has been in a 4 gallon tank with no lamp or anything... BUT!!! For christmas i'm getting a 31.2 gallon tank for her!!! ;D I cannot wait, It's got every she needs loads of plants and stuff i'm also buying a bulb 2.0 UVB. I don't know how many watts.
I don't know how i'm going to set it up but I thought it would be like this:
I would have moss at the back part where all the plants and branches are. Then at the front, there would be a waterfall and a fogger with a small pond, (shallow of course) because they can't swim very well. But would that be over the top? I mean a fogger is okay but would a waterfall not be dangerous for my frog? I only want the small one, and obv I would ask for a waterfall from my nan or something, and the fogger. I would feel bad if my parents got me all that ^^ Is that being over the top though? Thanks ;]
p.s the tank is 18x18x24"
Ya I can only imagine how happy your frog will be to move and ya that sounds like a amazing setup the only thing I'd add like fish in where the waterfall falls you know just to give the frog something to have fun with he won't get them
